Our website was accepted as a competing IT-project in the Stockholm Challenge Awards Program 2003/2004 (Education category). Hundreds of innovative projects benefitting humankind in some way compete from around the globe each year. From solar electrification of Himalayan villages using technology developed by an illiterate farmer to A Dairy Cooperative Society using IT to facilitate milk collection by reducing waste while increasing milk safety, raising income for rural producers, and more. Please visit: www.challenge.stockholm.se Professor Erich Gruen, Chair of the Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology Graduate Program at the University of California at Berkeley, had praised the much smaller pre-Web German-English Dictionary in 1993 as "an impressive piece of work" and "a valuable tool for the training of Egyptologists". Four other professors of the interdisciplinary program coming from the Classics and Near Eastern Studies Departments agreed.
